Song Lyric Trivia Is My Party Trick: Here Are 14 Crowd-Pleasers

Fun facts are my favorite kind of facts and the only thing that makes them more fun is when they’re seamlessly fed to me with little-to-zero effort on my behalf. Nothing has done this better for me than Spotify x Genius Behind the Lyrics. No need to tire my fingers by typing a lyrical inquiry into a Google search bar; no straining my vocal chords to ask Siri a question. Instead, I simply continue staring into my phone screen, an ability that comes oh-so-naturally to me, and my eyes are flooded with FACTS!!! It’s like watching Pop-Up Video without the interrupting commercials, that weird bubble sound and having to watch VH1 in general.

While I personally enjoy knowing useless pop culture trivia year round, I realize this time of year is when you most need your back pocket stuffed with useless knowledge so you can talk about literally anything that isn’t your actual life at the billionth, small-talk-ridden holiday gathering. If you’re still stuck with your family and have officially run out of things to talk about or are worried about running into former classmate after former classmate, try lobbing one of these 14 extremely fun facts I’ve learned from Behind the Lyrics instead of updating them on your love life. Prepare to blow some minds:
